With an eye to the future, Council volunteers led by Activities Chairman John Ohlson, are making preparations to welcome Scout Troops to the camp in 2021 and beyond.
Work is now underway to develop primitive campsites for use by Scout Units for weekend camping. Select a campsite you are interested in, and click the Contact Us link to inquire.

Camp Twana

A Map Of Future Camp Twana Campsites

This is a downloadable map of potential campsites located in Camp Twana, Hahobas Scout Reservation.

There are eight campsites in Camp Tahoma: Enhalie, Chetwood, Chak Chak, Wallalee, Yealth, Sekani, Tyee and Canim.

Tent camping is available at the Nature Lodge and Twana Lodge areas.

We are now scheduling work parties to prepare these campsites for weekend camping. Contact us to sign up for a work party, or call John Ohlson at 253-380-4100 for more information.

Campsite Reservations

Hahobas Campsite Reservations

Hahobas is now available for weekend camping by registered Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews in the Pacific Harbors Council.

Please note: Age limitations are in effect: Scouts BSA & Venturing members who are age 11 & up, or age 10 and have completed their Arrow of Light Award may camp at Camp Hahobas.

Campsite reservations will be online, paid in advance. Unit leaders must visit the Tacoma Scout Office to complete paperwork prior to their camping dates. Camping is limited to the Eena campsite at this time.

Camp Tahoma

A Map Of Camp Tahoma Campsites

This is a downloadable map of campsites located in Camp Tahoma, Hahobas Scout Reservation.

There are three campsites in Camp Tahoma: Chinook, Lummi and Eena.

Chinook Campsite

This campsite is currently under re-construction, and Troop 336 of Federal Way is heading up the restoration efforts.

This is a large, level site, with room for several patrols.

There is an outhouse adjacent to this campsite, and it is located in the northern part of camp.

Eena Campsite

This campsite is currently under re-construction, and Troop 438 of University Place is heading up the restoration efforts.

This site is equipped with 5 tent platforms.

There is an outhouse nearby this campsite, and it is located in the northern part of camp, on the shore of Robbins Lake.

Camp Twana

Canim Campsite #8

This campsite is currently under construction, and Troop 9112 of Shelton, WA is heading up the restoration efforts.

It is located next to the Twana Lodge, above the waterfront program area.

This campsite is equipped with a large tent platform, approximately 20' x 20', plus 4 separate tent sites, overlooking Robbins Lake.

Twana Lodge Tent Camping Area

The Twana Lodge was originally the Headquarters of 'Camp Twana' in the 1960's, when Hahobas was a 'Scout Reservation' with two separate camps: Tahoma and Twana.

The Twana lodge is located above the swimming beach, and to the East of the Twana campsite loop.

The lodge is partially enclosed and is ideal for conducting activities out of the weather.

This site is capable of accommodating 7 or 8 small tents in the level area around the lodge.

Camping Rules

Weekend Camping Use Agreement & Facility Use Rules

 
Reservations to camp are required, and will be made online.
 
A copy of the Hahobas Camp Use Agreement must be signed and submitted to the Tacoma Scout Center, which includes rules and terms of use of the property.
